Over 90% of Lagos Governorship election results have been collated and APC candidate Akinwunmi Ambode has won by a landslide.


Mr. Ambode defeated Jimi Agbaje of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to become Governor-elect.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will announce final official results later today.

Earlier there were fears that many Igbos in Lagos will vote for opposition party candidate Jimi Agbaje following a threat against them by the Oba of Lagos.
