At the PDP Governor’s forum
held today, the Governor of EKiti State, Ayo Fayose spoke at length at the
forum and all he spoke about was Buhari, Buhari. He said he needs Nigerians to hear him, and
this wasn’t about anything personal. My
mother is 74, Buhari is 73, old age comes with sicknesses, ailments, problems,
they find it difficult to even open their eyes when they wake up in the
morning, he explained. Buhari is too old to rule Nigeria, he repeated.
When Olusegun Obasanjo ruled Nigeria at 62 we all called him
baba, we all prostrated for him, now imagine Buhari coming at 73, his official
age, we can’t call him baba, it will be rude you call a man as old as that
using the word Pa to address him. His speech was like a blockbuster movie, like
I said before, you won’t be needing no dinner no more. This is all you need for
