We have reports that a pro-democracy group, Movement for the Advancement of Democratic Progress has now raised an alarm over plans by some anti-democratic forces within the polity to use the courts to scatter the forthcoming Presidential elections scheduled for next week Saturday by getting a last-minute injunction to either get the poll postponed or get the candidate of the All peoples Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari disqualified.

This group also claimed that Justice Ademola, whose wife is a Permanent Secretary in Lagos State has become some kind of an easy target in the hands of these people who do not appear to wish Nigeria well.

The group therefore are urging every Nigerian to raise each of their voices in lawful agitation against the postponement of the election and to encourage INEC not to cave in under the massive pressure of this postponement that may not just tarnish the image of this great country but could also injure the peaceful coexistence of the federating units in Nigeria.
